Our Statement of Faith
God is the Creator and Sustainer of all life. He eternally exists as the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
Jesus Christ is God's Son. He is God manifest in the flesh. He lived a life without sin and offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of the world. Dying on a cross, He shed His blood for the forgiveness of every person's sin. He arose from the dead after three days to show His power over death, sin and the grave. He ascended into Heaven where He lives to make intercession for all believers.
The Holy Spirit is present in every Christian. He is present in the world to bear witness of Jesus Christ. He empowers the believer to live an abundant life and gifts every believer for ministry. Daily dependence on the Holy Spirit gives every Christian victory over sin in His life.
The Bible is God’s word to us. It is inerrant, infallible, and eternal. It is the living source of God’s guidance and supreme wisdom. Though written by man, it was pronounced under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit and is the truth which sets man free.
Salvation is God’s free gift to everyone who will accept it. Jesus Christ made salvation possible by dying on the cross and becoming the atonement of sin. If you tell others that Jesus Christ is your Lord and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you are saved.
Every Christian is secure in his salvation for eternity. If a person has truly accepted Christ as Savior his salvation cannot be lost. The grace and power of God alone secures salvation rather than the self-effort of the Christian.
